Bath & Business

As well as Bath being a beautiful city to work in it also serves as a fantastic centre point for the geographies of our work. We operate predominantly in the South West, but with many clients across the UK Bath’s transport links allow for comfortable expansion. It is no doubt that Bath’s location has played a major role in our success and continues to be a thriving place for business expansions.

Being in a central city location means being at the heart of the city life. As a business we are easily accessible, we have great transport links and we are able to attend, with ease, any number of training workshops, events and meetings. Perhaps one of the most important elements to Bath in particular for us as a business is the dichotomy of urban and rural environments. Bath allows us to be at the centre of a beating city but at the same time offers quiet retreats, green parks and plenty of activities to do. We believe this has a great positive impact on the productivity of our company and wellbeing of our employees.

Bath is a city built on history and culture, so it is no wonder that we describe it as a quirky, unique and picturesque place to work. Around every corner you can see juxtaposing landscapes of modern architecture embedded with old fashioned quirks, not least the modern Bath Spa. We are very proud to be a part of this culture and community. Bath’s identity is no doubt a major attraction for many businesses, including ourselves.

Bath business is buzzing with new and established companies connecting at a variety of social and business events. There is a very welcoming atmosphere surrounding the business community and so much on offer for such a variety of business sectors and this is always developing. Last year we were proud to be sponsors and winners of an award in the first ever Bath Property Awards, for us this was a great achievement and is a real nod to the fast expansion and transformation that is occurring in the city. The business community allows small businesses to thrive, but also large businesses to remain successful and
continue to grow.

It is perhaps no surprise that we have had five ‘homes’ here over the past 26 years and have transformed each of these from derelict buildings into fully-functioning and attractive workspaces. With continually improving and sought-after office space, Bath has become a very attractive city to do business, making it a great place to connect and work with other like-minded professionals. In our time here we have greatly enjoyed the strong Bath business network, and through this have worked with a number of local companies in shaping their workspaces. A recent example of this is our work with Rocketmakers and Wild & Wolf, both with their offices in 20 Manvers Street (redeveloped in 2017). We are proud to have worked with both of these companies in creating modern and vibrant workspaces to fit each of their individual business needs. It is rewarding to be involved in local projects such as this, that so clearly add value to the Bath community and business network. We are especially excited to see the impact of the Bath Quays project as this continues to develop and draw the interest of a wide range of new business.
