£6m Innovate UK funding for feasibility studies

It's difficult to find the time and funding to explore new ideas while running a business.

A new Innovate UK fund is seeking to support micro and SME businesses operating within two of its key sectors (infrastructure systems and health and life sciences) in running feasibility studies on new concepts.

Who is it for?: Micro businesses and SMEs operating within Infrastructure Systems and Health and Life Sciences sectors (see competition page below for more eligibility details).

Funding available: Up to £150,000. 100% of project costs. For micro-businesses, up to 70% of costs grant-funded (the remainder funded by equity investment or convertible loans).  For medium-sized enterprises, up to 60% of costs grant-funded (the remainder funded by equity investment or convertible loans).

Project length: Between 3 and 12 months. 

Registration deadline: Midday Weds 28th June 2017 (applicants must register interest first).

Application deadline:  Midday Weds 5th July 2017
