Bath Digital Festival is back! 17th-22nd Oct
Bath Digital Festival is back for 2017!
The Bath Digital Festival is bringing people and technology together in 2017 with a fabulous programme of events over six days (17th-22nd October), with a focus on inclusivity and accessibility - tech for everyone.
The Festival is a big celebration of digital technology, and will be a great opportunity for people of all ages to try their hands at coding, take part in interactive workshops, and try out some of the latest tech.
New entrepreneurs and businesses will also have ample opportunity to learn from experts and industry leaders.
This is the fifth Digital Festival in Bath. The Festival was set up in 2012 to showcase the depth and breadth of digital knowledge and creativity in Bath.
This year's events
Some of the fantastic events include:
- Programming for beginners
- Mum's the word - why women in tech are important
- Decoding coders - working well with developers
- 21st Century Persuasion - digital marketing that works
Festival wristband - full and fair access
The Festival is run by the Bath Digital Festival Community Interest Company, which raises sponsorship and uses volunteer time to organise the festival.
This year, you'll need to get a festival wristband for £15, which offers full access to events across all 6 days! Find out more about how wristbands work here.
Can I volunteer?
Yes! Absolutely. The Bath Digital Festival is run by the community, for the community. It's a huge undertaking and needs an army of volunteers to man events and to generally help out. Click here to volunteer your time, or space for an event (scroll down to the volunteering section).
