Future Bright employee guidance

11 Jan 2019

Are there people in your organisation keen to pick up new skills and improve their career prospects?

Future Bright- a brand-new service offering career advice and training – could be the answer.

A dedicated Future Bright career progression coach can offer tailored support to your staff*. The service is free, confidential and funding is available for training.

With many organisations feeling the squeeze, even the most supportive employers are not always able to support their staff’s career aspirations. This is where FutureBright can help.

One of our participants, for example, works for a small charity and was keen to go on a course to support her role. Her employer wanted to help but couldn’t find the funding for the full course fees. With the support of Future Bright, she was able to take part in the course and is now bringing the skills learned back into her organisation. Everybody benefits.

Future Bright is managed by the West of England Combined Authority and is delivered locally by Bath & North and East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils.

Eligibility criteria has now been extended to include any resident in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol or South Gloucestershire who is aged 19 or over, in paid work and claiming benefits to top up their income.
