Grab your tickets to Social Media Week Bristol!
Social Media Week—“The world’s most important source of information in regards to the future of human connectivity”—is coming to Bristol.
The SMWi event (an independently organised Social Media Week) will run from the 14th to the 18th November, with a jam-packed programme of knowledge-building classes, keynote lectures and practical skill-up sessions.
Get clued up on social media!
Online adults aged 18-34 are most likely follow a brand via social networking (95%). If they had a good service experience with a brand over social media, 71% of consumers are likely to recommend it to others.
With stats like these, can your business really afford to lag behind on social media? Whether you come along for a crash course or just a top-up of your already extensive knowledge, SMWi Bristol will have more than enough to keep you interested.
The days are packed full from Monday to Friday, with events running from around 7/8.30am until 7/8.30pm. Check out the full schedule at Bristol Media.
Highlights include visits from social media giants like Twitter, Buzzfeed and Facebook, as well as success case-studies from Aardman, Yogscast and Yahoo. As if this wasn’t exciting enough, local experts such as Duchess Media (digital marketing), Jessica Siggers (photography) and Jo Middleton (aka “Slummy Single Mummy) will be hosting masterclasses, discussions and conferences to help you and your business to grow and adapt.
If you’re up for some serious learning, there are more business improvement sessions than you’ll know what to do with. To name a few:
- An Introduction to Data Science and Analytics with General Assembly
- How to stay on the right side of the law in social media with Steer & Co
- Small Business Social Media Summit
- Is your business to boring for social media? (Or, if bl**dy lawyers can do it, you can too!) with Valuable Content
- How to build/transform a business through Youtube, Facebook Live & Twitch with Yogscast, Yahoo and Aardman
- How to Find Customers Outside the UK Using Social Media with Business West
And if your brain hurts after all that information, you can wind down at Start Up Drinks in the Engine Shed, “Do” Lunch with some very inspiring people, or start your day with some fresh air exercise with Sawday’s Canopy & Stars.
Don’t forget the closing party!
