MoveGB on track for further success…
Bath-based MoveGB, app membership provider for 1000s of fitness activities, are on a mission to be the largest active community in the world – and the Bath-based firm is certainly heading on this trajectory, with 350,000 users and over 6,000 gyms and activity providers on thier network.
It’s perhaps no wonder that this success has seen MoveGB’s sales soar with a compound annual growth rate of over 200%. To maintain this success, Founder Alister Rollins was keen to unlock the potential of the firm’s Walcot Street workplace. He wanted the space to reflect the brand’s philosophy that “at Move, the line between work and life is blurred. We want our team to be themselves 24/7, to see Move as passionate hobby vs traditonal 'work'. We want to help people to grow into the best person they can be”.
With this in mind, MoveGB turned to Interaction’s design team, who completed various in-occupation works to bring the Bath workplace to life. Key features include a race track floor graphic, shiny new tea point and vibrant colour scheme throughout. The result is a space that perfectly matches the firm’s branding, ethos, and requirements for a flexible and appealing workplace.
Commenting on the works, founder Alister Rollins said: "At MoveGB we challenge what work is, including when you work and where. We're proud to provide a space for passionate people to have the flexibility and freedom to be creative. For us an office is a second home and an environment to enjoy and be productive – and I believe working with Interaction has achieved this for us at Move”.
Invest in Bath have also had a working relationship with MoveGB for a number of years, offering tailored support with their search for expansion space within Bath. Alister Rollins said: “From our beginnings at Bath Innovation Centre it has been tricky to find the right office from the limited options in the local commercial office market. Invest in Bath identified a range of options including several that were off the open market and worked through them with us until we found what we were looking for.”
By reflecting MoveGB’s brand and facilitating collaborative and creative work, the new workplace will help to ensure further success for the company. Plus with exciting new workspace due for completion over the next two years at Bath Quays, the City of Bath is set for more success as well.
