New Cyber Security grant fund launched
Is your business is safe from cyber attack?
Innovate UK, the Government's Innovation Agency, has recently launched a grant fund aimed at improving the cyber security of SME businesses.
Businesses can apply for a grant of up to £5,000 to help them:
Make applications more secure
Develop and protect cyber security intellectual property
Get accreditation to the Cyber Essentials scheme.
Innovate UK is also running a Cyber Security Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) scheme, whose aim is to encourage collaboration between academic institutions and cyber security businesses. Funding from DCMS and Innovate UK will be awarded to up to 10 KTPs.
Innovate UK also runs a general Innovation Voucher scheme. Businesses can get up to £5,000 in funding to access expert advice on a new product, service, or design. The funding can also be used to access specialist testing equipment. The deadline for the current round of applications is 20th October, 2015.
