Are you a woman with an early stage business idea that could make the world a better place?

Perhaps it’s a tech idea and you’re wondering who to work with to get it off the ground?

The free upcoming immersive two day Social Enterprise and Innovation Programme (SEIP) could be just what you need to get your idea moving!

Join the organisers on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th May at the SETsquared Innovation Centre, Bath.

This workshop is specifically tailored to early stage women social entrepreneurs, particularly if they have an idea involving tech. This workshop will bring additional modules focused on coaching and emotional skills for growing your idea. There will be another workshop in May.

The workshop is part of the ERDF funded Social Enterprise and Innovation Programme (SEIP) is tailored at a target market of early stage women (tech) social entrepreneurs and will include modules about business formation and planning:

●          Introducing social entrepreneurship

●          Identifying users (beneficiaries), customers, stakeholders and making sense to your audience

●          Social business canvas and identifying the social problem you are trying to solve

●          Finding the value proposition

●          Innovation through design thinking & lean start up

In addition there will be modules of a more tailored focus on the technical and emotional skills of starting a business: 

●          Personal growth: assessing leadership confidence and overcoming the challenges of being a female entrepreneur,

●          Reaching out: Role of networking and building the right connections both for progressing the business and you

●          Being prepared: Facing the funding hurdle - investor, crowdfunding, bootstrapping, public sector funding. Introducing the key funding sources. Positioning and how you capture the hearts of audiences, stakeholders and funders including building a pitch deck.

The workshop is delivered by Annie and Cat from the fantastic Dot Project and held here at the Bath Innovation Centre.
