Funding for French-English Projects

1 Mar 2017

The France (Channel) England programme funds various projects that aim to find solutions to problems common on both sides of the border. The France (Channel) England Programme, as with all European Programmes, is part of the Europe 2020 strategy, which is the European Union's strategy to deliver growth and jobs. Launched in 2010, it is focused in part on Europe's recovery from the 2008 financial crisis, but it is also about a new form of growth, focusing on smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

Applying for Projects and Finding Partners

Applications for projects is a 2-part process with a submission of a Phase 1 application form, followed by a more detailed Phase-2 application. You can search for projects that need partners, or submit your own project idea via your local facilitator.

Also Available: Micro Projects

The length of a micro project is limited to 24 months, plus an extra 3 months to close the project. They are limited to 5 partners, with a minimum of 2 partners (1 French & 1 English). The European Regional Development funding contribution is capped at 80% - the rest must be funded through match funding. Unlike the regular projects, the micro projects only require a one-phase application.
