Bath & Business
First and foremost, Bath is our home. When we outgrew our last offices, we thought about moving to another city to find enough space but we were really keen not to do this. Bath has a strong and growing tech scene, and is a fantastic city to live and work in. We love it.
Bath is large enough to attract lots of interesting tech firms to the area, but small enough for everyone to make contact with each other easily.
The layout of Bath makes it easy for our staff to get around on foot, and commuting via rail is very convenient. It’s a great environment to work in. About half of our workforce live in Bath. Finding talented staff is a big priority for us. Having the Mayden Academy here in the city is a big plus.
The tech sector has been growing steadily in Bath for several years, helped in part by the Bath Innovation Centre, and the two universities. It is a relatively small scene compared to Bristol or London, but it’s a highly talented community.
