Bath Western Riverside is an exciting residential development along the south bank of the River Avon, a short walk from the City's historic core.
The site covers 18 hectares. It will eventually accommodate 2,000 dwellings, a new school, a new bridge and over 7.5 hectares of public space, including a riverside park and space for commercial uses such as restaurants and shops.
The first residents moved into their new homes in 2011.
A number of sites along the riverside in Bath sites represent the most remarkable regeneration and development opportunity for Bath since the 18th century.
The sites provide much needed land for contemporary workspace, new homes and supporting cultural and leisure facilities to enhance the image, vitality and economic success of the wider city and district.
