Fairtrade Event for Businesses in the West of England

1 Nov 2017

Fairtrade for Business

In a time of uncertainty for the future of international trade, Fairtrade will continue to provide certainty for producers and suppliers, particularly the smaller ones who often are marginalised from the global trading debate. Whilst buying Fairtrade products for your business supports those producers and helps make their future more secure, it can also help your business – no matter what size.

Using Fairtrade products can form part of your Corporate Social Responsibility policy and activities, boost your profile in your community and encourage staff to get involved in sustainable activities and practices.

This event, organised by the Bristol Fairtrade Network, is for businesses in the West of England who are keen to learn more about how Fairtrade can help their business and share Fairtrade ideas. It will provide help and inspiration to source more Fairtrade products in your workplace. There to answer your questions will be winners from the 2017 South West Fairtrade Business Awards both presenting and on hand to share their Fairtrade experiences.

The Bristol Fairtrade Network will also be introducing the revised entry criteria for the South West Fairtrade Business Awards as well as revealing a brand new category for 2018.

Winners from the 2017 South West Fairtrade Businesses Awards will also be present to share their experiences, and we have been promised there will be some Fairtrade samples on hand to enjoy during the evening!
