Local Industrial Strategy - Have your say
The West of England Combined Authority (WECA) has been working on the Local Industrial Strategy for the West of England LEP area.
The aims of the West of England Local Industrial Strategy is to set out clear priorities to drive long-term growth in the regional economy; draw on the distinctive strengths of the people and places across the West of England to deliver growth that is inclusive and clean.
It aims to develop proposals to accelerate growth in the West of England economy by strengthening productivity, ensuring the region creates high-quality, fairly-paid jobs for residents. It will support businesses to thrive and enable new ideas to flourish.
Following the launch event and series of workshops the focus of the initial phase of work on the Local Industrial Strategy has been developing the evidence base for the region, drawing on a wide range of sources.
This is your chance to have your say!
The Local Industrial Strategy evidence base is now available on the WECA website. This is an opportunity to comment on the evidence base and provide views on the priority areas that are emerging from it.
Closing date for comments through the online form is Friday 22 March.
