Merry Christmas Market from Mogers Drewett

14 Nov 2016

Bath law firm Mogers Drewett is the first headline sponsor of this year's Christmas market.

In keeping with the company's 'responsible business initiative', the Mogers Drewett is dedicated to giving back to the community. "We are delighted to support the Bath Christmas Market, which is a great showcase for the city we are so proud to live and work in," says the firm's Head of Marketing, Louise Kelly.

Bath Christmas Market

Bath's Christmas Market is 16 years old this year and is bigger than ever; in fact it is the South West's biggest shopping event, attracting 413,000 visitors to last year's market and boasting over 170 different chalets. It's also the perfect way to shop local for your Christmas presents, as 89% of the products are handmade and 85% of the stallholders hail from Bath or the surrounding areas. Bath and North East Somerset Council will be providing free WiFi for the second year in a row; just look for the 'Bath Christmas Market' network and sign in!

Mogers Drewett and Christmas Market branded 'footprints in the snow' will guide visitors across the city's pavements towards the Market, where they can take in the beautiful shop-fronts lovingly crafted by shop-owners in the hope of winning 'best-dressed chalet'. This prestigious prize was scooped last year by Luke Hollingworth of The Stencil Shed, with his Bath Abbey themed stall. This year, Mogers Drewett will be represented on the judging panel, which appraises chalets based on lights, display of stock, interior and the actual exterior design.
