Tour of Britain to come to Bath
On Thursday 8 September 2016, Bath will host a stage finish of the Tour of Britain for the first time. Stage five will finish in the city having crossed South Wales and Gloucestershire, and will be shown live on ITV4 and around the world.
How can your business get involved?
There are many opportunities for local businesses to benefit from the profile the Tour will give Bath and the thousands of visitors it will bring.
You can help dress the city in the Tour’s red, white and blue colours. The Council is working with Bath College to create brightly-coloured bicycles that will be available for businesses to put up in the city.
Local food and drink businesses can apply to run concession stands around the finish-line.
There will also be opportunities to entertain your clients in the hospitality areas on the day of the race.
All businesses taking part in this promotion will be featured on the Tour of Britain website, which attracted 700,000 unique visitors to during race week in 2015.
