A plan for a new city centre innovation centre developed with the University and four key partners has received a £300,000 boost. The proposed facility would offer skills training, business incubation and digital labs on a site adjacent to Bath Quays.
The proposed I-START facility on Bath College’s City Centre campus would house Bath College, the SETsquared Bath Innovation Centre, and include space for the Institute of Coding to deliver courses.

The last two parts of the Bath Quays bridge superstructure have arrived in Bath from Belgium – and residents will soon be invited to name the bridge in a new online competition.
The vehicles which arrived on the 19th May follow the delivery of the first two sections of the bridge last week and travelled via the same route on the Zeebrugge-Tilbury ferry, with police escort on arrival in Bath due to the width of the vehicles.
