Bath & Business

We are lucky to be based in a beautiful Roman and Georgian city that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As a vibrant and growing business scene across a range of sectors, and part of the largest tech cluster outside London, Bath has a full calendar of events and networking opportunities for new and growing ventures.

Being a two-minute walk from Bath Spa station and the bus station, we are well connected to London as well as Bristol and the wider region. This positioning gives access to talent, events and investment networks, expanding our reach and enabling us to engage a broad range of communities.

With technical expertise in automotive, aerospace and a history of microchip design, the region has a history of being highly supportive to innovation and entrepreneurship. The universities in Bath are world class and offer cross campus academic research and talent in a number of sectors including sustainable technologies, advanced engineering, digital creative and next generation immersive technologies. The universities offer ideal collaborative partners for knowledge-based companies.

The business community in Bath is well networked and mutually supportive across sectors. There is an active ‘Angel Investment’ community and the proximity to London attracts and enables a start-up culture as well as entrepreneurial individuals.
